I recently toured this spacious Bellevue view home and was impressed by its fine condition and many upgrades.  The most impressive features were:

• Super-sized master suite.  Besides your king size bed and dressers, there’ a whole other half of the room for an extensive office or TV/sitting area.  You could entertain in this master suite.
• Fantastic back yard with four levels of decks.  The decks appear nearly new with synthetic flooring that never decays and attractive cedar railings.  I liked the nice touch of an outdoor light to brighten up evening parties on the main deck.  Decking at the front of the house matches these back decks too.
• The view from the top deck and living room is very pleasing.  You are looking at a leafy, green territorial view with the Cascade Mountains in the distance.  Any houses are mostly hidden out of sight behind the greenery.  I’ve lived in houses with and without a view and a fine view definitely adds to your enjoyment of a house.
• Lots of upgrades: new windows, 50 year (lifetime?) rubberized roof, new kitchen appliances.
• Literally, the largest and best equipped laundry room I’ve seen in any house.
• Low maintenance landscaping.  No grass to mow!

The house sits in the Eaglesmere community in the hills of South Bellevue.  New amenities have sprung up in recent years nearby: the newly rebuilt Newport Way Library and the South Bellevue Community Centerwith sports courts, climbing wall, playground, tennis courts, weightlifting room, and frequent classes and events.

The house falls within the attendance area of the Bellevue school district’s Eastgate Elementary, Tillicum Middle School, and Newport High School.  Eastgate Elementary is newly reconstructed and just opened last year.  Tillicum is the middle school home of Bellevue’s unique K through 12 Spanish immersion program.  The Puesta del Sol Elementary school is located within a short drive of this house.  Newport High School is nationally recognized along with many Bellevue high schools and one of the best in the country.
